Aggregation is violent.
If you have 2 Apples and you have 3 apples, and you light a cigarette lighter with a “+” on it between the two, there is a violent explosion and when the dust clears you have five apples.
If we repeat this experiment with two apples and three oranges, nothing happens.
One more scenario to consider:
2x + 3y
If left as is, nothing happens.
If we find out y=2x then there is a flash of light as 3y quickly changes to 3(2x) and then to 6x and then there is a BOOM! and we have 8x as the final answer.
For extra credit, one experimenter, who does sonething different, gets 4y. Can you explain what happened differently for that experimenter?
