Covariant Derivative

Below, \nabla is the covariant derivative operator.

It is linear:

\nabla(T + S) = \nabla(T) + \nabla(S)

It follows the Product Rule (aka Liebnitz Rule):

 \nabla(T \otimes S) = (\nabla T) \otimes S + T \otimes (\nabla S)
