Vectors fear one-forms. A one-form will grab a vector and smash it against the wall, killing it, and when CSI shows up a few hours later all they find is a scalar lying on the floor.
A one-form uses a dot product to make a vector into a scalar.
CSI started doing some math.
When (1,3,4) was killed, the scalar was 8.
When (2,2,2) was killed, the scalar was 6.
When (2,4,5) was killed, the scalar was 11.
In this story, no two scalars have the same three numbers. CSI tracked down and arrested the one form (1,1,1).
