If we want use lists of numbers to represent vectors and one-forms then we we need a Reference Frame.
It might be the lines of the graph paper we use for the drawings.
When you are introduced to one-forms, you will given numbers. Those numbers wouldn’t exist without there being a Reference Frame. The number comes from the number of markings per unit and we wouldn’t have the unit without the reference frame.
